Operation of Children's Cafeterias

The Group has been entrusted with the operation of Children's Cafeteria Nagisa, established by the Kurodo Memorial Foundation near Keikyu Tomioka and Mutsuura Stations in Yokohama City, with the goal of contributing to the promotion of community interaction through food. At Children's Cafeteria Nagisa, we serve popular dishes for children, such as hamburger steak and curry, with meals supervised by a registered dietitian to ensure a balanced nutritional intake. The service is available to children of middle school age and below, along with their accompanying guardians. Since its opening and until the end of July 2024, approximately 100,000 meals have been served. The space also serves as a venue for studying, playing, and fostering parent-to-parent community interactions.
Additionally, due to the impact of COVID-19, which led to business closures and job terminations, resulting in lost employment opportunities for single-parent households, students who used part-time earnings for tuition, and job-seeking family members, we operated "COLOWIDE Cafeteria" at 12 locations in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama for three months in 2020. During this period, we provided free meals to approximately 78,000 individuals.

Support for Disaster-affected Areas

Following the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, the Kumamoto Earthquakes from April 14 to 16, 2016, and the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1, 2024, the Group provided meals at local evacuation shelters and facilities.
In recognition of our support activities in the Noto Peninsula, we were awarded a letter of appreciation from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries in July 2024.
As a corporate group that supports food infrastructure, we are committed to contributing to the community and society by offering warm meals to those affected by unforeseen disasters.
