Barrier-Free Store Accessibility

To ensure that elderly customers and those who require wheelchairs can enjoy their meals with peace of mind, the COLOWIDE Group is promoting barrier-free accessibility in stores. The transition to barrier-free specifications has already been completed in all Kappa Sushi stores. Wheelchair-accessible booths, multi-functional toilets for people with disabilities, and wheelchair-compatible elevators have been installed in most upper-floor stores. Going forward, barrier-free facilities will continue to be implemented in new store openings and renovations.

Installation of Smoking Rooms

With the enforcement of the revised Health Promotion Act in April 2020, indoor smoking in restaurants has been generally prohibited to prevent passive smoking. To ensure that employees and customers are not unintentionally exposed to second-hand smoke indoors, the COLOWIDE Group is promoting the installation of smoking rooms, primarily in our izakaya-type restaurants.
