Promotion of Women's Empowerment

At COLOWIDE Group, we promote diversity with the belief that "utilizing diverse talent and providing opportunities for skills development contribute to enhancing corporate value." We are working to create a workplace environment where female employees can continue to work with enthusiasm. Through internal networking events and various training programs, we encourage awareness reform not only among female employees but also among male employees, while also working to enhance various support systems.

Target

To promote diversity, we aim to increase the ratio of female employees and the percentage of women in managerial positions.

The ratio of female employees : 30% for the entire Group by FY2027 (31.1% as of the end of June 2024)
The ratio of female managers : 30% for the entire Group by FY2027 (13.1% as of the end of June 2024)

Women's Empowerment Project

In March 2021, the “Women's Empowerment Promotion Project” was established with the aim of creating an environment where women can continue working and achieving a workplace that offers a sense of purpose. To support the growth of individual female employees and encourage their challenges, we have implemented activities such as lectures by role models, features in internal newsletters, networking events where female employees from different working environments such as factories, stores, and offices come together, and diversity promotion training aimed at raising awareness among management. We are committed to supporting the development of individualized career paths for female employees, providing insights in line with changes in their life stages.

Since 2024, we have been holding a group-wide event in conjunction with International Women's Day on March 8. The event includes workshops on career development and work-life balance, as well as seminars featuring guest speakers.

Acquisition of Eruboshi Certification

COLOWIDE and Freshness have obtained the "Eruboshi Certification," awarded to companies with excellent conditions for promoting women's empowerment, as determined by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. The evaluation criteria for the "Eruboshi Certification" consist of five categories: "Recruitment," "Continued Employment," "Working Hours and Work Style," "Management Ratio," and "Diverse Career Paths." COLOWIDE met the standards in four categories and was certified at the second level (two stars) out of three stages, while Freshness met all five categories and was certified at the third level (three stars). Moving forward, we will continue to expand this initiative across the entire group.

Note: Eruboshi Certification The "Eruboshi Certification" is a system under the Women's Empowerment Promotion Act, which allows companies meeting certain criteria for promoting women's empowerment to be recognized by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
