Strengths of COLOWIDE
These are two strategies that are supporting our growth.
Merchandising Strategies
The COLOWIDE Group strives to maximize value provided to customers by maintaining a high level of food safety and security. This objective is achieved through our unique merchandising strategy. Our merchandising operations are consistenly managed from product planning and research, raw material procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. Group synergies are created and products are tailored to meet the specific needs of our brands and their menus.

Utilization of Central Kitchens
All the factories located across Japan function as the central kitchens for the entire COLOWIDE Group, effectively reducing food preparation workload at our restaurants and allowing us to offer unique and original flavors, which is our strength.

Strengthening R&D functions
The COLOWIDE MD R&D Center devel- ops menus based on group-purchased food materials, reducing costs and improving customer value.

Procurement of Sustainable Foods
In the sushi business, we are working to addland-based farmed fish to our menus in line with our procurement plans. We are also bolstering our collaboration with our investment partner, the agricultural corporation Vegefru Farm Co., Ltd., so that we may, among other initiatives, introduce functional vegetables.

Find Us Worldwide
Currently, we are expanding globally, with a presence in 15 countries and regions overseas.

Global Restaurant Operation
Yakiniku - Japanese BBQ - is a widely popular food culture enjoyed casually in Japan. With Japanese food becoming increasingly popular overseas, yakiniku has become one of the most popular Japanese foods, alongside sushi and ramen.
The COLOWIDE Group is expanding by opening new “Gyu-Kaku”, “OOTOYA”, “Shabu Shabu On-Yasai” and “Kappa Sushi” locations, primarily in North America and various Asian countries. This includes newly entered markets such as the UAE, where we launched a new food court specialty brand produced by Gyu-Kaku called “GYU BOSS” in November 2024. We now operate a network of 409 locations and continue to expand our business globally.
